The glass is half full/empty
Hi guys! Bonnie speaking! (well more like writing)
Wow!!! I realized that I haven't written anything on my blog for ages... Even though no one it looking at it, I still like writing on it. Anyway, what subject should I write on today? Well a few weeks ago I was chatting to my friend (from high school) on msn. Both her and I were chatting about uni and other stuff. At some point in our conversation we were talking about how she was able to manage to do things on her own, not relying on someone else. I praise her for being good and that I'm really proud of her. (Note that she is a close firend of mine and we treat each other like sisters. She is the older sister and I'm the younger sister. This is because our age difference is 6 months). She told to me she hasn't changed much from high school and she sees ' the glass half empty'. Then I said something to her like "With your glass of water that is half empty and with my glass that is half full, if I pour mine into your glass, we get a FULL glass of water." After me saying that she was laughing her head off and was happy. Then I explained to her, how our friendship is very important and is never going to change. Later on, she says something that me happy and made me want to cry..."you'll always be my number one friend and sister".
So what is the point of me writing this up? Well, for the people who have friends that seems to see the negative sides of everything, you can talk about the glass being half full and empty. Remember to tell them how you appreciate them for being your friend and how you care for them alot. They can be your friends, siblings, lover or anyone else.
Life is precious. To me I believe everyone should experience the best of it.
